I need to remove the driver's side door panel to take a look at a
couple things. My original stock speaker is bad I think. I tried this
a while back, and got stuck after removing what I thought were all
screws/snaps, etc. Anybody have any tips/tricks?

Strangely enough I've been putting them on and off all weekend whilst doing
an audio install in my 1994 saloon.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom front of the speaker pod, pull the small
cylinder of black foam out of the inner door handle to reveal a screw.
Beneath the power window buttons there is a small rectangular panel. Prise
this off with a small screw-driver to reveal a screw.

The hardest part is removing the black plastic trim panel that sits behind
the door release. Gently pull it towards the rear of the car and prise the
top and then bottom with a small flat-bladed screwdriver.

Remove the two screws holding the panel on and then gently pull the panel
off of the door. You'll need to disconnect the wiring harness for the power
windows.

Reassembly is the opposite.
