I have a 1991 legacy turbo auto I cant seem to find
the transmission fluid dipstick the only dipsticks I
can find is the oil and rear differential according
to the owners manual pictures someone PLEASE help!

Rear diff dipstick? this must be a feature I am missing. Do you mean the
one in the engine compartment, near the exhaust??

I'm sorry i just looked at the book again. It says its
differential gear oil (not rear differ.) And i I'm
pretty sure we are talking about the same one by the
exhaust. Its the one that the dipstick only says high
low. I'm still clueless as to where the tranny fluid
dipstick is? ... or am i the dipstick hehe....

That is it...
The same fluid for your front diff, transmission and center diff.
No worries, when I first saw it I went huh?? as well. I saw the
relationship of the three when I took the tranny apart.

The picture is missing the center diff at the opposite end of the front diff.

`240`-there`s a dipstick on the pass side for AWD automatic cars for what I
assume is the center diff fluid; the actual trans dipdtick is on the
driver`s side below the starter & should have a yellow `ring top` on it.

I found it! There was a tube right on top of it so it
