I have a 91 legacy turbo. I just need to confurm that it has a IHI VF
28 turbo. Someone wants to trade me a modified tdo5 from a ozzy WRX,
but I want to make sure that it is what I say it is. Isn't that what
our cars came with?

Where are you? The most common (i think) for non-North America cars was the
VF8, there was also VF10 and the Mitsubishi turbo.
North America had something different, not sure the code. I was comparing
the VF8 against the North American one last night. The one big difference I
found was that the intake on the VF8 was 50mm versus the 2.2 turbo at 40mm
Does anyone have the specs on all the turbos???

The North American Turbo is the IHI RB52, not sure what the
equivalent VF designation was.

The RB52 is the part number that they use at the dealer. but I was told that
its not the moddle number. I think that it says VF2.8 or something like that
with a bunch of numbers following. I'm sure that mine is not a garret.
