brown headlight covers, electronic countermeasures, and Toro

I have a 92 Turbo Legacy Wagon with the stock plastic headlight
covers/lenses.

I don't know what the tech name is but they turn brown and dim your lights
and looked like shitty pieces of trash that needed to be shitcanned.

But don't trash them till you try some plexiglas cleaner. I couldn't believe
the way they cleaned up like new in about two (2) minutes

For you renegades out there the giant URL below will take you to a site
offering a device to block laser and radar. It is not intended to encourage
speeding. ;^]

http://test.technoscout.com/general/pro ... 5&Prod_Nam
e=Phazer_Radar_Jammer&site=80290&sourceid=00382660704128585561

Anybody with experience please give feedback to the list

If there's anybody out there in the Toronto area that can help me, maybe
help someone recover an overseas consignment at a security company I'll split
the reward if it turns out to be on the level. Please contact me at email
below, thank you.

what was your pexiglass cleaner called?

by the way i wouldn't try that jammer. It's been tested on 20/20 a few years back and was reported to work "sometimes" and only 10 feet in front of you. laser is pretty much the hardest kind of speed traps to catch... from what i understand the laser beam is no more then 8inshes around and is pointed at your plates or headlights... and your radar detector wont pick it up unless its pointed at the wrong area... thats what i heard...

I read somewhere a year or two ago about these little patches that you can insert on your lenses and plates that will absorb the beam so that the cop wouldn’t get a reading. but it doesn't look like tahts made it to the masses....

are you guys using the cleaners on the outside or inside of your
lights? if the inside, how do you get in to them? pop them apart
and rtv seal them back or is there an easier way?

Our lenses in the US are a form of plastic/lexon or something like that. Over time the plastic lense oxidizes and turns nasty brown. I have cleaned mine, but they always turn brown again. I think the age....the plastic breaks down, and continues to. I don't know if there is a sealant to stop it from doin that. I want to try that blue magic stuff someone mentioned (sorry forgot name)
