Check Engine Light/Code

I was driving along earlier today I stopped to see if the newest SCC
was at Barnes and Noble (Wasn't) came back to my car started it up
and had a check engine light. The light lasted aprox. 2 minutes and
then went out. Promptly got home and checked the codes using the
information from Josh's site for the black connectors. Came up with
the code of 35 (Canister purge solenoid valve). What does this do?
Where is it located? Is it extremly important (Short trip next
weekend, should I replace before hand)? Any and all help is of course
greatly appreciated.

The canister purge valve isn't too important, you can go on your trip with no probs. I had my check engine light come on during my trip across country. It went on and off I think 2 times. I think that valve is more for emissions stuff. I'm not a 100% sure where the valve is, I know the canister is on the passenger side in the front.

i've had that code since i bought my car 40 thousand miles ago. From what i
understand, it's just an annoyance; no major damage will come from it.
