ecu reset

ecu reset.... which one do u disconnect... + or - i
unplugged the + ...does it matter?

I unplug the positive but it should not matter. You need to keep it
unplugged long enough for the computer to loose its memory. About 30 sec to
1 minute.

Mark, you need to keep it unplugged for longer then that. YOu need to keep it unplugged for 45-60 min.

As far as battery terminals to unplug. I'd recommend the negative terminal. All the manuals and books and such, always tell ya to disconnect the negative battery terminal, not the positive.

No you don't. People have just used that figure because it is easy
and will definately reset it. It will actually reset before 5 minutes.

The battery terminal thing, yes the negative is the best to remove
because when you replace the negative terminal you don't get spikes
in the electrical system like you would replacing the positive
terminal. Not that good for the electrics.
