4wd to Fwd. someone??? FINAL ATTEMPT

OK, I went out to my car to check carefully where you could be getting crossed up.
First I'll describe, then try to draw what you should be looking for ....
Just in front of the firewall, right next to the passenger side front fender there is a kind of an upside down squareish bucket looking thing called a strut tower about 7 inches front to back and 9 inches side to side. There is a 3 inch wide valley between the strut tower and the firewall. A round black rubber boot that's about 4 inches in diameter pokes thru the top of the strut tower. As you stand in front of the car facing the engine, there is or should be a little metal bracket/plate about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide attached to the top of the strut tower behind and to the left of that black boot right at the top rear edge of the strut tower. Attachment is with 2 screws about 1-1/2 inches apart. If you had a 4WD disable fuse it would be in a little black housing about the size of the top half of a pack of gum with FWD in white letters clamped to the little bracket and hanging out over the valley in back of the strut tower. Also! , one of the bracket screws is an attachment for a ground wire about 4 inches long that runs into the same wire bundle as the FWD fuse wire. Both wires continue across the valley to a larger bundle about an inch in diameter that comes up from below and runs towards the drivers' side along the firewall. If the ground wire is not attached to the strut tower, and if the fuse housing is not clamped to the bracket, both could be hanging down a foot or so from the larger bundle right in front of the firewall. Also try to see if it looks like a smaller wire bundle has been cut from where in may have routed into the larger bundle near the firewall.
OK, here's my picture, hope it makes it thru cyberspace.

The letter "E's" are the engine
The equals signs ( = ) are the firewall
The number ones ( 1 ) is the big wire bundle that the FWD wire routes into
The letter "Y" is where the FWD wiring ties into the larger bundle
The letter "O" is the rubber boot
the two "x's" is where the bracket holding the FWD receptacle is screwed to the shock tower
Drawing not to scale but close enough if you have a receptacle where it should be
Like I said, check to see if it looks like some wires have been cut where the letter "Y" is,
or if a loose wire is hanging down from where the "Y" is.
Let us know what you find
If you come up empty maybe the dealer can help
I'm tapped out
