is it possible to take the headlights apart, like the clear lens
apart from the rest of the headlight, without breaking them? if so,
anyone got any tips?

Mike:
Yes you can. Take out the head light, take off the clips(top, bottom),
put in a tub of hot tab water(hotter the better) lens down fill the
inside too. let sit about 15-20 min, you will need a putty knife or
butter knife or both or something like it (the duller the better).empty
the water out. Very carefully start at one corner and work the long side
of the light first the the corner to the short side, once you get a
separation in the lens stick something in to keep what you got, and keep
going. if the light gets cold put it back in hot water(I used the bath
tub). Good luck. :) Dan (Southwestern,WA{Brooklyn})
