heres the skinny on the MY 93-96 WRX IC fitting. the big issue is this. the 2nd water tank (small radiator cap to the right of the throttle body) needs to be moved because of the angle of the IC. i moved mine to the opposite side of the engine and made a bracket to hold it. then ran hoses to it. the second one is the angle of the dangle that you described. Yes originally i used a piece of radiator hose, but those dont hold up long against a HOT turbo outlet. i had to go online and find a 45deg piece of silicone hose and cut it to shape. its an annoying job as the IC inlet gets very close to the turbo outlet and makes fitting a pain. but past that its not that bad. but to get rid of that issue, thats why im buying a used TD04 from mr fullerton that way nothing is strained and bent.

any other questions?

Is that TDO4 also known as a VF10 ? I have thought about one because
of the same problem you are describing. I ordered a WRX turbo from OZ
but they sent me the TDO5 and that is a bit large and I am planing on
selling it.

Interesting enough, Australia, NZ etc has the radiator tank mounted in a very different spot then North America. It is next to the power steering pump. I wonder if we could make it work on the north american motors?

I have a 91 Legacy turbo, US spec, with an 94 WRX EJ20 and IC, my 2nd
water tank is mounted next to the power steering pump...just thought
I'd toss that out there.
