im having the same issue, started about 4 months ago... now it was right after thanksgiving, and now this morning... no click, nothing... i have had two fixes so far... roll backwards and pop start it, when i can, or take the battery terminal off for aobut 3 minutes, then try again. i cant figure it out... im thinknig maybe the connections on the starter are corroded, but it engages JUST fine when its normal... so im at a loss...

I've had a problem lately whenever I've started it up occaisonally becuase its in my garage but the key will click whenI turn it once and not start. Then I try again and it fires up. Do you guys know what that is? It never did it before.

I have a friend with a 90 legacy that had similar experiences. It wouldn't start, wouldn't do anything. She left it alone and it started fine.

I will second the issue about the battery terminal connections. spray that puppy with anti-corrosive stuff or baking soda. Then use one of those terminal cleaner brushes and spray that red anti-corrosive stuff on it. Also probably wouldn't hurt to look for loose connections/wires to the starter or from battery, etc.

Do you get any dash lights or radio work or anything like that? Do you get any click or anything? Is there a solenoid for the starter of some sorts, or is it actually in the starter? Any more info you guys could give would help tryin to track this down.

Actually i don't have any POWER problems.. nothing dims, i can use the radio, no dummy lights, i can put all the fog and driveing lights on with no problem..

i will try and clean the battery off..
