I own a 92 Turbo Legacy (EJ22T) and my intercooler just broke. I am
wondering about any good suggestions for a front mount intercooler.
What other upgrades should I get with the Intercooler? Performance
Fans or something? Any recommandations would be great.

modify you inlet so the throtle bdoy is at the front. This will allow for a
shorter trip from the turbo. Add a boost guage and wind the boost up a
litte to reduce the lag. Also another tip check the legal side of things as
well I know for a fact the I am not allowed to cut any structural steel ie
steel in the front bumper which makes it had.

That is not an easy mod, because you will have to do away with your
air con and move your alternator into the air con's place.

If you do it right you will only have to cut one hole in the steel of
the car and that would be in the guard at around the same point the
airbox does on the other side.

Yes move your Alternator to the other side of the oil filler or under the
left hand head. Keep the air con.I would not now what to do with out it. Try
