OK, since there is no aftermarket for my 1991 Legacy 2.2T I'm gonna
ask the question.... Can I use a WRX downpipe on my car? Will one of
the aftermarket ones fit? I've got my high flow cat picked out...my
muffler picked out, it seems once i get my downpipe i'll just hop on
over to the muffler shop and custom make the rest of the piping. So
does it work...straight bolt up? or no?

I talked to Matt Sciccitano, creator of this group and former
(possibly soon to be again) owner of a well modded Sport Sedan, and
he said it should bolt right up. It might take a little fabrication
on the other end, but it *should* work just fine.

I dont know if this will help you at all but I know that WRX
aftermarket midpipes will connect to the stock Liberty RS downpipe
without modification. So I would think the WRX and Liberty RS
downpipes are the same...but i have no idea if the Liberty RS and US
Legacy 2.2T have the same downpipe. If they do, then I'm sure you can
use a WRX aftermarket downpipe.
