Heater fan discoveries

Hey everyone, remember when I wrote describing a heater fan that wouldn't come on for the first five minutes and asked for any expertise? Thanks for nothin you bastards, nobody responded at all. Oh well, it turned out to be a tiny relay up under the driver's kickplate way up above the fuse box. It looks like a tiny aluminum electric motor wrapped in a white plastic cage that makes its clip for the electric connector. I suspect that this is problematic, as I had the same symptons while under warranty. Even though I could sometimes jump start the problem when I played with the mode buttons, it wasn't the switch. Other pointers include......There are two basic families of Legacy heater switches, white plug version and black plug version. Mine are all white. The heater fan and the resistor are easily accessible by removing the two big screws that are visible under the glove box. The glove box is really easy to remove by those two two screws.
