What group buy would we like to see?
I think that exhaust is #1 and we already have a
builder in place for that.

What else would you like to see as a groupbuy?

A cold-air intake! One that actually improves performance and doesn't
put the MAF in peril.

Stage 2 Turbo+Intercooler Upgrade for Turbo Sedan!

C'mon, I know you all want one. Well, except for perhaps Rod.

I'd like subachad from the i-club to make some of these for us with
the EJ22T: http://i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?

Looks like a winner to me.

Ok, I am in for an exhaust group buy. I think we should get a group buy
going on for an AEM intake or something complete with cold air box as
well. That'd be cool. uhh is it worth it to upgrade my ignition to
like the MSD DIS-2?
I hear thats where its at. My car is completly stock cause I just
bought it. Can somebody tell me the best way to start gaining
horsepower so I can make my car a sweet 1/4mile - street car. I want
the high torque through like the whole rev range. Upgrade turbo?
replies requested.

Yeah the MSD-2 is a good upgrade. Check out dave's site, legacy central http://www.xmission.com/~dac He upgraded on his, and has a writeup. You'll also need a coil pack from a newer model subie....

As for the group buy.....is the AEM filter like the PRM filter....or the one that's in cobb's cold air intake?

The filters alone are like 140 bucks.....I could probably pick up a generic weapon-R intake or something else, and custom fab it to fit......mine however is a N/A engine.....for the time being ;)

technically we could make our own right? All we would have to do is buy the material and custom fab a gasket right?

How about just an intercooler to start?

No seriously, maybe an intercooler setup or something
along that line.

Ryan-the MSD DIS-2 is an excellent choice for upgrading the engine; stay with part #6211 if you`re going to do basic upgrades. Recommended: remove water separator in pass side fenderwell-K&N panel Filtercharger-custom exhaust from 2.25-2.50" if motor to remain stock internally-FMU (RRFPR)-Hallman manual boost controller-if possible, the biggest intercooler you can fit-alcohol injection to offset low octane fuel (stock timing can be retained this way without detonation.) You should have a low 14 sec./high 13 sec. car with a manual trans. Happy horsepower hunting!! ROD (AZ.)
