Okay guys here it is!!!
For months I've heard people arguing what the best size exhaust system is for
the Legacy Turbo(CDN). I'm not sure which to believe. Is it better to have a
2.5 inch or a 3 inch pipe? My car has the stock baby turbo, Hallman boost
controller (13 PSI), and a snorkusless K&N drop in filter. Thus far I have
also installed a 3 inch downpipe that goes into a 2.5 inch cat. The pipe from
the cat to the muffler is still stock as it doesn't seem like it wants to rust
out. Is this stock pipe 2 1/4 inch? The stock pipe goes into an after market
Vibrant muffler with a 2.5 inch inlet and outlet.
Question is am I loosing significant power with this setup due to the stock
pipe? If I should upgrade the stock section should I get a 2.5 inch or a 3
inch pipe put in? I've heard that the bigger the better for a turbo car!!
But I've also heard that if the car isn't powerful enough you will loose
low-end torque!!! What do you guys say???

I'm getting a custom pipe made by someone in Washington.
Based on the end result, we'll decide whether it will be
something that we'd like to make available to the community.
It should be reasonably affordable as well.
Plans are for: 2.5" mild-steel, twin-dump, catless with O2 bung.
Basically a bolt-in replacement, add cat downstream along with
upgraded system of at least 2.5".
