no visible damage at all, except to the metal part on the bottom of the bumper and a big ass indent in the rear footwell. the trans pan might be dented a little bit but thats probably just how it looked. i went through all the gears with the shifter and also with the actual little lever thing on the...

nah, it's just my last name, and what most people call me by. after thinking about it for a bit i don't think its one of the axles. when i had the front end up i wiggled the one wheel back and forth and felt the usual little bit of play before the other side starts to move, so theres a bit of a conn...

i need a rear subframe for my 4wd loyale 5sp wagon. nobody anywhere seems to have it. will pay up to 80$ and will pull it myself if i have to. i bought a beater loyale to use as a DD while the legacy gets swapped and the end of the subframe rusted off... harry's only has one fwd loyale and wedde sub...

i'm gonna try that today, i have a spare one kicking around in the garage. if its not that i'm kind of thinking either clogged/stuck injector(s) or maybe my timing belt jumped a tooth or something

so my car is really screwing up right now. about half of the time when i accelerate from a stop (more likely to do it if i step on it, if i ease into the throttle it almost never does it) it backfires and jerks and falls flat on its face untill i hit 8-10 mph then it pulls hard like nothing happened...

i just filled it with fresh fluid less than a week ago when i did the pan gasket. it made the weird noise before that but the right turn thing just started happening like 3 days ago. its kind of a bitch to check the oil regularly though, the bolt that holds the dipstick in broke off flush with the t...

transmission goes into neutral in right turns

so my car is fucking up again, i think it's the torque converter this time. whenever i make a right turn the car just revs like it popped into neutral, and every once in a while it starts making a weird whining noise that can be made louder and quieter by stepping on and letting off of the pedal. it...

it being a bitch to do and not common at all is really the point of my wanting to do it... as well as being a sucker for n/a power, and the svx sound. i've seen firsthand a 96 wagon swap, although with a 4eat, and with stripping everything uneccesary and using a smaller radiator, moved forward a bit...

Wtb:EG33 or cheap EJ22

so I have rediculous amounts of air coming out of my filler tube for some reason ,and i think my rings or shot (or hg leaking into oil passages? Its a lot of air so I doubt it) so time for a new engine I guess. Anyone have an EG33 w/ ecu or EJ22 block w/ heads still on for cheap in the pa area?

subbox is gonna be stained with a light color as I like the wood, its actually some fairly expensive leftover cabinet wood a freind had laying around. Great idea! I was planning on blacking out the chrome but the matching door handles would be awesome. Now I have a use for the extra 2 cans of paint :)

i always end up lining it up from the big hole in the bottom and putting the screws in from the top. also helps a lot to have someone to rotate the crank for you while you line it up and after you put each screw in.
