Is it cranking and just not turning over due to a lack of spark?

If so, I'd check everything in the electrical path from your battery to your plugs (coil pack, wires, the plugs themselves, etc).

Are you sure that no spark is your problem? (are you getting gas, etc)

More info pleassseeeee!

How about your spark plug wires? Are they in good condition? Not grounding to the block before the current reaches the plug or anything?

I don't know what to tell you man, I'm a relative newbie so I can't really think of anything else

Good luck!

Yes, and Im trying to remember how to test it. I suppose it should throw a code first of all.

Replace those autolites and the old plugs. It should fire up then.

Those plug wires are maybe 80 miles old. But as THAWA sais, they're crappy autolites.

Dont know what to say other than that... it has never given me any problems except for when the ABS computer ran the battery dead a few times.

With the cam and crank angle sensors, the ECU will throw a code if one's working and the other isn't. So, yeah, it'd be worth checking to look for codes.

Have you read through the FSM's guide to troubleshooting engine starting failure? It starts on page 178 of the engine & wiring manual Josh posted.

Blah, Ive run so many sets of autolite wires. There shit, but they all are(including Bosch & NGK IMO) and whats the likelyhood of all four going bad at the same time. Same with the plugs? Its a CPS, or coilpak. Im sure there are testing procedures for both in the factory manuell.

Clear the codes, try to start again, and then pull the codes.

Which MAF sensor do you have on your car?
