almost 21, right in the bell of the curve

2nd car here, the first was a bmw 320i with no power and some incredible suspension. Not tires either...poor thing slid out goin rreeeeaaaaalll slow... So the Sube was the answer for something with traction. It's basically my commuter, but if you want BMW info, im your man.

Hi guys.

I'm 34 (35 in November) and own a '93 5-speed manual Turbo Estate (wagon for you guys on the other side of the pond). Bought it off a mate who owned it for about four years and absolutely LOVE it!

It's completely stock and even though it has 182,000 miles on it it only cost me two bulbs to get through it's annual MoT test (roadworthiness test here in the UK). It's plain white, debadged and doesn't half give people a shock when you breeze past.

It's my 28th car and my favourite (so far...)

Oh, you will probally want to know how long I have owned my Legacy, well it has been only 2 weeks, but I have been around them for the past 3 years, since my brother bought his.

I like the Legacy way more than my Mercedes, which I have been messing round with for the past 3 years. Before that I drove a few Audi's, a Fiero, Ford F-100, Chevy Blazer, and various other cars.

I waited until I was 25 before I bought the Turbo Legacy, this way I can afford the insurance. Right now covering both cars is the same price as just covering the Mercedes when I was still 24 :o

ill be 19 in november

my car history
parents bought me an 88 toyota camry for my 16th birthday day only. In pristeen condition. And only 35,000 miles on it in the summer of 2000. It was my great aunts so i knew it was well taken care of. Then about a year ago i bought an 87 toyota 4x4 (greatest truck ever built). And last march I decided I wanted something else, ive always loved subarus. So what do i do go to the local subby dealer and check them out. It was there i saw the most beautiful creature ever made a red 94 legacy sport sedan (the first one i saw was a black 91 but it had a nasty engine knock and they wanted 6 grand for it NOT!!). And i wasnt leaving without it. So i made a tough decision trade in the 4x4 and give the camry to my bro. As much as i miss the truck i havent regretted it one bit. I love my subby!!!. Sorry if this is more info than you want but i love talking about my cars.

19 here

got my baby last year at a auction in modesto :o. I didn't go there with the intent of getting a sooby though. Infact that was the last thing on my mind :D But man am I glad I did, of the cars there it was either this, an audi 90(really wanted this one :(), a ford probe, a mazda 929(which i would've gotten cheaper than this car had I known how much I was going to pay) or a honda accord. All early 90's At first I hated the fact that it was an auto, but now I don't really mind it and actually love it sometimes when I got off of work late at night, shifting is a pain in the ass when your body is extremely tired.

I'm gonna be 18 for about another 5 months.

My mom gave me her 86 nissan stanza 3-speed AT when i was 14 after she got her 99 mazda protege. The stanza came complete with leaking moonroof, cracked windshield, and the AC worked when it wanted to. After putting about $400 into it, i decided to sell it for $500 and save up for a car.

I pretty much narrowed it down to an 88 prelude  which im glad i didnt get and a 10 year old 1990 Subaru Legacy NA MT, Moonroof with 127,000 miles :D !!! I decided to get the legacy because my brother already had 2 subarus. It sat at some crummy dealership with a dead battery and a worn clutch for 2 months or so until i bought it. They wanted $1800US and that would include the new clutch, but i talked them down to $1450 and that included tax, tag, title, and a new clutch! It didnt have AC though, but for some reason my mom decided to get it fixed for a cool $1400  .....$50 less than i paid for the car!! but, living in Florida, im glad she did!

That car is the best purchase i've ever made!!!

I'm..Um..25ish (30s getting way to close) and have been addicted to Subarus ever since learning to drive a standard in my dads brand new 87 GL-10 Turbo sedan when I was 13ish. When I turned 16 I got an 85 BRAT for my first car, best first car any kid could ever have. Takes a liken and keeps on tickin. After that I owned the folowing Subarus.
81 Safari Wagon
87 GL-10 Turbo (yes the same one)
77 Brat
85 XT Turbo RWD
88 GL wagon 4x4
91 Legacy Turbo (Still have)
86 XT Turbo RWD/ 4WD
92 SVX (Still have)
88 GL wagon 4WD
92 Loyal (the monster wagon/ Still have)
90 Legacy LS wagon (beater / Still have)

And I sold my friend my first 85 XT and then got him a great deal on a 93 Imprezza that he currently owns. I also got my mom into a nice 90 Legacy LS wagon for $1,000.

So thats how it is. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
92 SVX 6 speed, 165 shot NOS, Koni GC
91 Legacy S.S. FMIC, TD04 (so what?)
90 Legacy wagon (Beater)
92 Loyal monster wagon (EJ22) and 30" tires.
78 BRAT (EJ22T comming)

I blow s@#t up.

It was an 81 4x4 Wagon that came with "special" Safari brown paint and grafics and it came with the push bar and center headlite. I had swaped in an EA82 Turbo and AWD tranny. Kinda wish I still had it.
