WTB U-shaped hose for AWIC expansion tank vent connection

Post by Legacy777 »

I need the U-shaped preformed hose that connects to the top of the AWIC expansion tank. When I installed the AWIC I had to remove the tank, but since I've been losing water I need to put the tank back in.

I ended up cutting that hose up, and then it fell off, and I need another if anyone has one. I found something at the autoparts store that should work, but the hose is like $12. I'll get it if I can't find anything, but I thought I'd ask.

Here's a pictures of the tank & hose

Thanks
Josh

Is that just an overflow hose Josh? I would think a little piece of vacuum hose (maybe loosely ziptied so it points down) would be sufficient.

Yeah it's just an overflow.

I guess I could try the zip tie thing.

Frank,

I'll try and get the ID of the hose when I get home.

5/16" ID is probably the closest. A smidge larger would probably also work.
