they are a great thing aren't they. Can anyone advise me on how to get more power without dropping a turbo engine in? i have done the intake but thats it at this point. ( sorry, slight thread hijack)

Custom cams or some from another subaru? any recommendations on an exhaust?

In your part of the world, there's a place called Kelford that does camshaft. They do really top notch work, and I am sure that they would have an off the shelf grind for you that wouldn't break the bank. You should be 12-15chp from cams.

Then there is a company here in the states called OBX that does an equal length header that will work. They advertise it for the newer Imprezas, but it's fine for your car. Or, you could go to MRT for a full exhaust with EL headers. It's not cheap, but it's quality, and freight won't kill you since they are in Australia...
