I'd send these folks email...Barret Dash is the owner. He usually has access to a variety of options. I bought a car from him and trust him...

Of course Blackbart is a terrific vendor too. Entire engines? Not sure...

I've got a whole one down in CT. A bit far and shipping would suck, but if you need it, let me know.

You can replace the crank & rod bearings & have the crank checked out by a local machine shop to see if it's still ok to use or not. Frank (Blackbart) has 22T internals. I already took 2 sets off his hands for builds I am doing for my buddies.

question is what has to be done to ship it to you? and how much also. would drain oil before shipping. also p/s as well.

I'd look at the block first - it may be fine and would be cheaper than finding a turbo, shipping it, and still dealing with an unknown quantity. Rebuilding a good block, even buying a used crank, should be under $700. That said, I do have one for sale, but shipping would be a pain.

price?

i found a running ej22t for 1500 for a full swap in canada, but i can get a block from th eus for a third of that, so ill deal with customs.

i dont want to rebuild if i dont have to, i need to dedicate myself to studies,, and my civic. i am not paying someone to build me a motor, id do it myself, but i dont want to because of time and money issues, its just better and easier for me to get a running ej22t and swap it in.
