rhinolined hood

Anybody know if it a good or bad idea to rhino line or huculine the under side of a hood?
Not sire about heat distribution orc ontainment.
Anbody got any ideas?

the shop i work in also is a line-x dealer, ill ask them what they think. they have also spayed whole trucks with different color schemes. in fact i think they will spray anything.

So i talked to the line-x rep and they said it will most likely melt if its on the underside, also they said it has no heat distribution properties. So from what i gathered from them its a bad idea.

I've seen the bottom half of outbacks done in rhinoliner, definatly something different.

Isn't rhino lining pretty heavy? I mean, i don't think it's enough to make a substantial difference, but i was under the impression that it weighed a significant amount.

Yeah. I probably wouldnt either now that I think about it. They're hard to come by down here :P

Yeah just ended my search for my ss hood wouldn't want to do that to it.
What u guys think about the rocker panels done that way? anyone seen them?

Subiel94 painted below the door trim on his car black, it can give you an idea of how it looks and theres a thread in the pictures and multimeida area. Also, in this picture is the outback with the lower half rhinolined, the outback is behind my car so its kinda hard to see but the lower half is rhinolined. Picture was taken at WCSS 12.
