so.....MY CARS BACK! woooohooo!!!
the used radiator seems to be holding up fine.
STILL have code 22, I bypassed the pinched wire but only connected the inner wires, knock sensor could be fried, or the wirings not wired right.
oh well :roll:

She sounds good and seems to be happy to drive again.
two concerns:
1. I think the sweet burning smell is just coolant being burned off.
2. I looked down, below the TPS and saw movement through some sort of viewing hole or something (almost like some kind of timing thingy), is this normal or did the jerks at AAMCO leave something uncovered?

There is a small plastic piece that covers the hole you speak of. It's there to simplify removing/install the TC.

Replace the knock sensor ASAP. I highly suspect my N/A died becuase of it and the ECU never threw the code or cut timing.

I have a practically new knock sensor off a N/A . I am not sure if they are the same but pm me if your interested.
