cold start problems ej22..vaccum lines a problem?

Post by nicv217 »

finally got the ej22 turbo running..it starts up nice and drives perfect during warm weather but when temp drops in the morning it throws check engine light and cuts out at around 3grand.eventually like an hour after driving it the check engine light will go off and car will run fine. My friend connected the emmisions lines and im guessing he did it wrong.also ,what might be, the purge control solenoid has no hoses connected to it.. can anyone help with this? thanks nick

Nick,

Have you checked ECU for codes? Since its throwing a CEL, that'd be the first place I'd start. Instructions are on my site.
