WD 40 for iac?
I see a lot about seafoam to clean the iac, but what do you guys think of just using wd-40? It is an awful good cleaner and I have a lot of it. Interested to see what people have to say.
91 Black SS 5spd. Edm lights, wrx gauges in dash, 45 degree airbox, cryoed drilled and slotted brakes. Invidia divorced downpipe with custom stainless exhaust. To be installed, aluminum a-arms, manual belts, awic.
Re: WD 40 for iac?
I usually use carburetor cleaner - Gum Out or similar - followed by WD-40 as lube.

Brake clean for me, doesn't leave any residue. WD40 isn't really a cleaner or penetrating fluid, but it does those things adequately.

"Brake cleaner is made up of chemical compounds that evaporate as they dry, leaving no residue behind and dissolving grease for perfectly clean brakes...."
