HAHA that^ guy needs to be used cars salesmen. Just ran into this one on craigs. I thought the price was a joke at first, $27500 for 94 ss  ?!?!?! Sounds a little fishy to me...

Re: Header Fitment questions

Its going to cost quite a bit to fab up something for those ones. I run theses ones on my 91 legacy and have had good luck with them so far. Good sound, some fitting issues, but great for the price. They are a direct fit which will cut down on cost. Also give a great deal more flow over stock. If ...

Re: Napa rotors? Anygood?

I work at a NAPA in Leavenworth,Wa. The rotors we sell are OE spec in every measurement. Many other foreign built rotors have thinner walls to save money which ours don't. I have never warrantied any of them for defects of any kind, and they are checked by NAPA before they are shipped over seas. Not ...

Re: Bad transmission or Bad Car?

Alright well that definatly makes sense. Im pretty sure her car was 1990 and this was a 1992 trans. That would definatly explain the problem. Her mechanic told her they were the same 1990-1994 oops. Thanks for the info i knew that transmission was fine. Im just amazed it made it that far lol.

Yea the same thing happened to me. The toothed pully next to the water pump blew out its bearing. So in return belt slimped about 5 teeth on left cam pulley, and at steady revs would't turn the waterpump. Still managed to drive home 2 miles with the timing that far off too. No valve train problems ...

Well happy to report i finally got my car back :-D . And to my surprise it is in perfect shape. The only thing that was broken was the lock cylinder. Lucky, i got another in my parts car.

However, I did have to pay the towing charge, which was $312  . The thieves had parked it at Imperial ...

I was parked in Montlake on 23rd Ave E SEATTLE. Left it over Saturday night and most of Sunday. No broken glass or any evidence. Positive it wasn't towed.

It is a White 91 L NA wagon and was pretty beat up. Couple of dents and rust. Has a few stickers on back hatch, Loud exhaust. Also had black ...

magnaflow NA exhaust manifold+Catalytic converter

I purchased this from ebay a couple months ago because my original was old and had cracked. The price was very reasonable ($253.00) plus free shipping.
Most of the other brands that i looked at retailed from about $350-$500. Seemed like a pretty good deal, and looked like it was designed a lot ...

My 91 NA wagon does this same exact thing. It gets pretty annoying after awhile. I'll start it and instantly after i have to give it a little gas to keep it running. Then after about 30 sec's or so it idles fine.
I live in washington also and have been running 89 octane gas. When i first bought the ...

Broke sway bar

So I broke my front sway bar on my 91 wagon . It hasn't really affected the driving that much, but I still wanna get it fixed as soon as possible. I was just wondering the best way of fixing it. Is there aftermarket ones available, or is it a junk yard thing?? Also how hard is it to remove ...

no they weren't. I just ordered the steel ones though. They seem a lot thinker. I don't even know why i tryed those oem ones. They probably would have work fine on new exhaust maifolds, but mine have seen better days.

Yeah i live at about 2,200 feet in Washington so 140 on all cylinders shouldn't be 2 bad then. I just got the engine in and it runs fine and dandy. yeah the engine i have now has 250K on it and runs great, but has a small headgasket leak. All it really does is overheat every once in a while. So not really cost affective to just do head gaskets on the old engine. I think this used engine is my best bet so far.

compression 2.2?

I was just wondering what the compression should be on a 91 2.2 liter naturally aspirated. I'm thinking of getting a used engine that tests out at 140 psi in all cylinders for like $350. Its guaranteed for 1 year.
thanks
