WRX Coolent Tank Placement

Post by J-MoNeY »

I did a search and it yeilded nothing. I was wondering what the common place was to put a WRX coolent tank and what hoses go where. Pics would be a help please. Thank you in advance.

I relocated my battery to the trunk, and built a bracket to mount the tank over where the battery was. But I had a SAAB TMIC.

When I go FMIC, I will probably try to figure out how to mount the WRX tank where the stock was, or just fix and reuse the stock tank.

I saw that someone else had it on the board. I believe he mounted it next to the ABS unit. I think I may try that, but some pics would be greatly appreciated of how you ran the hoses and of your bracket.

I believe that was jake15, and he just ziptied the tank to the power steering lines, ghetto style:
