Blower motor only works on 4?
It won't activate at all unless i put it on 4 123 don't do anything... I will have the dash out in the next couple of weeks is there something I should prepare to replace? It worked when I got the car then it made a horrible squeeling sound on the 1st 3 and they stopped working then the squeeling went away permanantly and now it just works on 4. Any ideas?

The problem is likely to be a crack in the blower motor resistor.
You don't need to remove the whole dash to get to it; if you remove the glove box you can see the resistor. It has a 4-pin connector going to it and is held in by two screws.
You could try repairing the crack, or just replace it with a new one or one from another Legacy/Impreza.
