Hi all,
As many of you have been read my post below, now the problem seems to switch to which GC8 WRX engine parts could be the same parts to replace the old first Gen. Legacy turbo engine?
I have to replace the head gasket also the water pump and timing belt.
As far as I know the timing belt will not be the problem since all 4 Cam Engine are use the same belt so I could get it at local dealer.
How about the water pump and the head gasket?
Does any one know which Year's or Version of WRX engine could be the same parts for 1st Gen. Legacy turbo (EJ20G) engine?
Thanks for your information and hope could get any answer from your hlep.
Ben

Do NOtT use a WRX head gasket on an EJ20G. The EJ20G is a thick gasket like the EJ22T's. You will have valve to piston contact. Rallispec can get you the right gasket. Also, the dealership can order it if you get the part #. Read the thread below about this engine from the guy in Berkeley who got one. He lists a dealership he used.
On the water pump, and turbo water pump with the return line will work. Timing belt is same as WRX.

Ben,
I replied to your PM. I am sorry for the delayed response. You can pull all of those parts off your EJ22T. And if you get in a pinch, you can actually use an EJ22T head gasket. The bore will be a little off, but all the coolant passages line up.
I will get you PN's for the EJ20G HG if you still want to look for one...
