help on wireing

i am makeing a 95 impreza a turbo legacy, if i use a auto turbo legacy wireing harness to save on time and put a 5speed turbo motor and tranny in will the car be the same. no problems right just the auto car has to hook up with the ecu and the 5speed dosent.

Yeah, if you're putting a 5-speed transmission in you can use an auto Legacy Turbo harness. Just cut the wire going to the ECU's "transmission ID" pin.

what wire would that be vrg3. its on the ecu side or near the plugs that plug in to the auto tranny

so un plug this wire B48.20 Transmission ID out of the ecu and tape it up. and everything will be fine but i am useing my 5speed ecu with the chip

There's no difference between 5-speed and automatic Legacy Turbo ECUs. The only difference is that wire. So, yes, disconnect the B48.20 wire and tape it up. I believe the wire is black with a white stripe.
