for the wrx exhausts need to be. that and where hangers need to change.

i spent the day going thorugh all the exhaust posts that had anything to do with wrx and only found difinitave maybes on where they need to be. even made the discovery that the "breakfast of chamipons" (iggdawg) actualy was a member here.

also what is the black or back box. is that just the muffler?

If the WRX mufflers fit anything like the GC mufflers, you need an extension just before the muffler, and the mount on the driver's side needs to be moved back about 1-2"

is that the only one in the entire tbe that there needs to be an extention though?

When I had my first CES TBE exhaust put on, it was a WRX version. I had to add around 5" of pipe to the axle-back portion. Had to chang both hangers on the muffler, and the mid-pipe hanger needed moved too.
