So, my car has a curse on it...

Post by Tleg93 »

I swear, sometimes I wonder what the deal is with this car.

Yesterday, I went to pick up my car from the body shop where the guy who did the original paint job was do some touch up work and reattaching the mud flaps. I tried to call him all day and the phone just rang and rang and rang. I got worried so I thought I should just go over and see what's up. I get to the street he lives on, turn the corner and I'm immediately confronted with Police line do not cross tape all the place. My first thought was "wtf!!!". I didn't know what to think. Then I noticed a gaping black hole in the side of his house. The door was hanging open and there was fire codes cars all over... THE GUY'S HOUSE BURNT DOWN! I was freaking stunned. I went up to the house and looked inside...gutted. There were codes guys in there and they told me that his girlfriend was med-evaced to philly and that she was in critical condition from burns and smoke inhalation. My car was locked in the garage out back. What a horrible mess. I guess the girl is in critical condition but all indications are that she will be ok, thank god. The guy called me later on and had me come over and get my car. Someone had taken advantage of the situation and tried to break into his truck (people are such asses). So I got my car back but geez. So far, it's been hit from behind by a guy having an epileptic siezure and sittting in a garage when someone's house burns down. Not to mention I mopped up like a liter of a dark brown substance from the front and rear seats that looked alarmingly like blood.

I'm really only kidding about the curse but, man, it sure seems to be an uphill struggle. As long as she's ok to me I guess I won't worry too much.

I'm starting to think that Majen's middle name might be Christine!

That's awful, I can't believe it. That's good that his GF will be ok.

Seems like there has been a lot of fires lately. I know they have an arsonist loose up in Scranton. Just saw on the news last night that two kids died in a fire in Carbondale too. 17 months and 5 years old. So sad...

Don't worry, arsonists are just closet-homos.
Your story sounds like that fat kid from Lost. He uses those numbers to win the lotto, and then shit starts happening. (Don't buy a yellow hummer, I'll hurt you. )
If you mopped blood out of your seat, I'd be surprised, but I'd also be relieved. What are the odds those seats will see major blood again?

I think it sounds more like Christine. I get to the house and Majen sits there all peaceful, like nothing happened. No, just kidding, it's all kind of tongue in cheek anyway. I don't really believe it's blood, I've just got an active imagination and sense of humor. But, if it was blood the odds would be like you said, pretty slim.

Scott - That sucks dude!

Didn't you think the stain was a period stain?

I also thought you named the car Magen, not Majen...

Yeah Phil, I did name it Magen but after I looked at it a while I thought it looked like it sounded more like Maegen or may-gen. I added the j so that it could be easily seen to sound like may-jen. Anyway, it does suck that the guys girlfriend was hurt. I haven't heard any word on her condition yet.
