Excellent! Hope you can relax and enjoy yourself. I wonder if it's weird being back after so long over there.

I thought about him yesterday, but a mini-crisis and a doctor's appointment kept me from travelling to the base. That, and well, I didn't know where to find him, really. We had discussed this before, in another thread, so it's wasn't exactly 'top secret', ya know?

It's looking more like July or August. :(

That's sweet that you're going to be running the Rogue. That's a fun river for sure. What part are you running? Are you rafting or kayaking?

There are some very trecherous/technical sections on that river. Class 4-5 type stuff. There is also a section or two that are class 6 but are really more like extreme class 5's. There is one class 6 section that is straight up though. They call it the Natural Bridge. It's on the upper Rogue. The entire river falls into a lava tube and goes under ground for about 200 yards. It then shoots back out into a canyon. A few people have tried to go through it with scuba gear, none came out alive, if they even came out at all.

Indeed!

Todd, if you want that suspension installed; I have discussed with Barret at AllWheelsDriven.Net, and for your contribution to our country, they're willing to help out! They're a bit of a drive (Grants Pass to Bend), but excellent guys. Contact me if you're interested.

Matt- I'm running from galice to about 10 miles downstream from where the jet boats turn around. Done it a couple times before. Only real toughie rapid in that section is blossom bar- its like a class 4 or so, but its pretty easy in a kayak. The rest of the stuff is 2-3.

I've never been up to the upper section, im kind of a pansy :)

That part of Oregon is fkn beautiful. Its easy to see why all the californian scum wants to move up there, i sure do too. As it is, i make it up into southwestern oregon at least once or twice a year for vacation.
