Finally a day off!

Post by magicmike »

Well after checking with personel I found out that I had 8 unused vacation days from last year. I guess the policy at my company is that any unused vacation days need to be used before the end of march but given the huge project that I'm working on this year and last for GM I was given some leeway. So anyway, I'm enjoying my first vacation day (day off) in the last six months at leaste. Well I've had sundays off but usually I'm flying back to detroit on sunday nights after just coming home that previous saturday. I've been practically living in Belleville Michigan since the beginning of January. It has really sucked out there, The work is ok but its really lonely. It is nice to be alone at times but damn I'm out there every week. I've been home this week and I will be going to hartford ct tomorrow night to hang out with a few buddies to celebrate our 30th birthdays. It should be pretty cool. I have monday off but I'm sceduled to fly back out to GM on tuesday night :(

Just wanted to share my recent life events with you guys as I havent really been on here as much as I was before.

awwww... magicmike, we do miss you! Check in as often as you can, we'll keep you covered, socially. --God knows, for many of us, this board is a pretty fair percentage of our daily interaction, so don't get too down.
Sounds like you've got a busy job.. Do the Benjis make up for it?

Happy 30th! Have fun, at all costs!

Mike you must live pretty close to me (its RI after all). I'd like to try out your Turbo at some point, never driven one. And yours looks like a fun one to drive.

I'm working on a project for GM as well, wiring harnesses for the Lambda platform
That beer you are drinking cost more than my car

Sorry to hear that you have been that busy with work. Gotta do what you gotta do sometimes right? Enjoy your vacation though and I'll wish you some nice spring weather to go with it. And of course - Happy Birthday!!
