yup, my dads a certified subaru senior master technician, so naturally we all drive modified subbies  but its pretty much only my immediate family, some of my aunts/uncles have a couple subbies, but nothing like my family.

My dad bought my 91 new, and when her tranny died, got an 02 outback, it got stolen, and he got another 02 outback. As long as I can remember, my grandmother has owned white legacy sedans. She has a b4 now. I'm on my 2nd, my brother had an old GL, and I'm currently looking for a legacy for my mum.

I'm the pioneer Subaru owner of the family, but my uncle and my grandpa have followed in my footsteps :D

I'm the first in my family as well. My uncle has worked on them a few times, used to be a mechanic at a general shop. My entire family drives japanese except our old beloved Chevy van. But my kid's first car will be a Subaru if Subaru can keep up their quality.

My mom had a 92 Touring Wagon, in Silver, exactly like Laurels.

She almost bought a Forester 2.5XT, but didn't end up getting it.
2009 Outback 2.5XT. 5MT. Satin White Pearl.
2009 Impreza 2.5i Premium. Blue.

Wicked.
I'm the first in my family, as well.. it's.. ..hard, to say the least. I get so many lectures, and this and that about my loyalty to these cars. Apparently my family loves to compromise everyone else's loyalties but their own.
(They all still prefer Pemco, Costco, Brand-names, etc.)

I will probably never own another car but a subaru, and probably a legacy at that. It's the only car I've EVER owned, and I'm already, technically, on my second one. I'm lovin' it.!

Grandparents started it with a new '90 legacy. I got that one with 140k when they bougt a '96 wagon. Totaled the '90 and got my '93. My mom finally got rid of her mercury mistake, er, I mean mystique. She picked up an '02 forester in the fall and loves it. My sister bought a new Mazda 6 in november and, although a nice car, is no sube. Oh, and its got a ford engine.

Some of you may have seen the Family Subarus section, but we've got 7-10 right now, most of them being Legacies/Outback and a pair of Foresters.

My mom currently drives a 99 Forester. I drive the 92 Sport Sedan and my father drives a 86 GL Wagon. Affectionately dubbed "the hunk of shit".
