Hydraulic lifters

Post by dzx »

When i change the cams in my car next week, do i need to readjust the valve lash somehow or will the hydraulic lifters adjust automatically when the oil fills them?

They do it automatically, that's why they are called hydraulic lash adjusters :) Course this is assuming they're all in good shape. If you've got any that are frozen or something you should probably replace them now.
