Aaaart, is there something we should know?

I would also be asking why you were smelling your book Laurel. But then I remember having books with particularly strong smells. I only wish they smelled like bagels!

I was dating an older lady once who didn't smell of anything - anywhere. It was awesome. I could go down on her for days.

i always found my books tasted like peanuts.

and if your wondering i used the books as ammo for my spotball cannon made of a jumbo pixie stick. push pins also suficed.

We did the same thing with push pins. Awesome for acrylic tube blow guns.

We never used push pins but I did shoot the superintendents kid in the eye with a spit wad from across the room back in 8th grade. He had it coming and had he not whine to the teacher when she got back I wouldn't have had to serve a day of silent lunch. It was still worth it.

Eight grade we made 'V' shaped bullets out of tight wrapped strips of paper or bent paper clips and fired them at each other with elastics. They could hurt pretty good. Fun.

I had one of those cheap dart blow guns when I was younger, raised some hell with that thing.
right now I'm in the process of making a radish shooter(mini potato cannon). Ive got all the stuff, just too lazy to put it all together. it is just a ;length of 1" PVC pipe, a 1-5" adapter, a 5" cap, and a little twist spark thingy. you can use a piezo switch too. uses carb cleaner for the propellant.

Hehe, yeah I'd forgotten about those, we used to call them 'tweeters', who knows why but as you said, fun :).

after a while of using the pixie stix i found that if the length was as long as it could and it had the slightest curve to it the push pins would stick into anything you shot them at including the chalk board. i nailed one right in the middle of the board and the teacher was so confused about what happened. it was priceless

we called thoes rolled papers, paper rocks. but whe did it 5th grade. my buddies and i rolled em so tight that they would tear when you folded them into shape. everyone elses were flimsy and couldnt make it across the room.

the teacher couldnt fighre out why their were holes in her posters adn dents in the dry wall at the end of the year.

the best i think was 4th though. i made a spitwad gun outta 5 white tube bic pens. it was like a machine gun. no matter how bad your aim was you always hit your target.

Did you all get your milk from the cafeteria in little packets that you had to stab with a straw? If you pulled the wrapper like 70% off they would fly. We could get them clear across the libary and even stick them into the ceiling tiles of the 35' ceiling.

i cant even picture how that would work mostly becasue we had regular mild cartons. the most we did with milk was pop the cartons like paper bags when we were finished and scare everyone.

how bout folding water or soda bottles in half and spinning the caps off so that they would fly everywhere. that was some fun stuff

Picture a flat 4"x4" clear plastic pouch sealed on all edges, now fill it with the amount of milk of a normal carton. Yeah I know... The straws were skinny (3/32") and about 5 inches long in wrappers like juice box straws. Hehe, the plastic was pretty pliable and you could blow air into the packets and pressurize it and then just let the milk fly...

I don't think we ever tried folding the bottles in half to pressurize it, we just squeezed them.

How about taking a McDonalds straw and pinching the ends and rolling it up and having some flick it to pop it and make a lot of noise?

Or how about putting ketchup packets on the floor in the lunch line for people to miss and step on?
