After 13 hours of straight hell, Subarina once again roared into action. I ran into a lot of problems today and am extremely tired but she seems to run good. I can't lay into her though because my clutch is slipping extremely bad. As soon as I go on boost it slips. Nothing lined up right, not sure why. BUT, she's running again and everything else will get addressed in do time.
That is all for now, I'm going to go medicate myself and pass out.

The install went well until I did the turbo. For some reason, I don't know why, it diden't line up right. The turbo is sitting kinda crooked and for the life of me I can't think why it's so. I did install Group N tranny and engine mounts but that wouldn't cause the turbo to be crooked. Because of this my DP didn't line up right. I couldn't attach it to the tranny support bracket like usual. I can usually install my DP by myself in around 15 minutes but yesterday it was about a 2 hour afair! Because the turbo is crooked it also put my compressor outlet more towards the TB and IAC. I could just barely get the hose to the I/C on and then the IAC connector would just barely go on too. Then it was a more extreme angle so the intercooler wouldn't go in. It's weird, it's like the turbo is further towards the center of the car then before and cocked slightly clockwise so everything isn't lining up right. Once I got the I/C in it just barely fit, it also seemed like the entire engine sat closer to the firewall. I don't get it. A total bitch and many hours of custom fabrication out the window. I'm going to have to figure out what's going on or redo my entire intake track. I'd rather get the damn turbo in straight since it's effecting so many aspects of the system but for the life of me I can't think of why it's doing that!
Any thoughts?

I'm not sure, I was kinda thinking the same thing but it's the same bracket that was on my old engine and it was ok there. Hmmm, unless I got the brackets mixed up and put the BJ one on. IIRC the BJ engine didn't have the bracket on it though. Is it with your 16G?

I don't think I still have the bracket... Did you maybe sell it with the uppipe?
Some NASIOC people actually recommend omitting the bracket when doing uppipe swaps and stuff, so it's possible that the bracket was removed from the car a long time ago.
