Replaced a tail light on my moms 90 sedan, found differences

Not sure exactly when the change occured but she now has one red reflector insert and one pink reflector insert.

After noticing this I looked around at other vehicles and saw a pretty even mix beween red and pink.

Maybe US cars had red and Japan cars had pink or something?

yeah I think I saw a post by someone who had pics. I'm pretty sure mine are red.

Were her's pink to begin with?

hmmm i gotta take a look at my bc5...Was there any bc5's made in the us?? i dont think so maybe late 91

The original lights had the red insert, the replacement from ebay from a 91 was pink. However I have a 91 with red so?????
