Hello all...
I really want to get a boost controller of some sort...I need more speed. BUt I am very concerned about mbc's and the partial throttle full boost problems created. The Bristol guy has come up with an interesting thing that are a set of solenoids attached to an in car switch (missile launch style) that lets you switch between stock boost control and mbc. This sounds pretty cool to me...I was always attracted to the turbo exess dual MBC with in car switch. I have also heard about this boostmonkey controller, but all I found on it was about how the guy ripped everyone off...I had a hunch this might have had some mechanism for throttle "sensitive" boost. Of course, expensive EBC's have this...are there any cheaps ones? Any other ideas about this problem? Does anyone understand what the need is for a bleed valve that is used with both the MBC and stock boost? I couldn't figure it out.
Thanks
Micum
