Big props to Phil, Scott and the MAIC posse!

Post by legacy92ej22t »

I have to thank Phil and the MAIC for helping get my clutch and flywheel in and Scott for helping, as well as taking me back down to southern PA to get my car and finish up the install that didn't get done the first day.

Phil also drove me home after the first day fiasco which was 4-5 hours out of his way! Big props bro.

There is a big story behind this that I will tell ASAP, right now I have to go to work though so it won't be right now.

Anyways, thanks guys! You are true friends. :D

What the fuck is this thing?

:)

Just kidding of course.

I was so anxious to show Matt how the throw-out bearing clipped into the pressure plate, I didn't remember to take notice to the fact that you can't reinstall the tranny with the Throw-out bearing installed on the plate. Whoops. Oh well, we got it and it wasn't a huge inconvenience other than a few hours extra driving for myself and Scott, but it was well worth it. That second day was fresh minds, hands, and muscles.

Good times my friend, good times :)

HA HA, well, the bearing can be in the pressure plate when you put it together, but the forks godda be in there too!

Good pic.

(I can find great amusement having done it myself)

The fork was in. It was that the TO bearing was binding up on the tranny shaft and wouldn't let the tranny shaft go into the pilot bearing right.

No problemo, Mazatt. I'll find a way to, ahem, utilize your talents in the future. Yeah, it was fun and I'm glad I got to contribute something to the task.
