My friend warming up his tires...

Post by BAC5.2 »

My friend Keefe was at an auto-x, and on his first warm up the tires run, he was pulling faster times than some of the rest of the field pulled on warm tires.

Cold Azenis + first run = dorifto... in an 05 Legacy GT sedan :).

Note: Stickers are sponsorship stickers from Racecomp Engineering. Suspension = Zeal V6 coilovers. At setting 0, the car rides like stock! It's awesome!

Miatas are great - where else can you get so much reliable fun for so cheap? I'd almost get one as an economy car because of the mileage.

The 05 GT now beats the original turbo Legacy as one of the most underrated and underappreciated cars.

My miata gets 24, the SS gets 20. Miata is rated at 30/24, SS at 25/19. The miata mileage is not the best. Fun car though.

Shit, I figured they'd be around 30 with that size engine and weight.

I can't get my RE070's to slide unless it's raining or I'm pulling a U-Turn and I get on it. It's incredible how much grip comes from a wide tire :)
