IOWA:

Land of the Free, home of not much else.

Oh, except Slipnot, and really really really cold winters.

My lady friend has been living in West Des Moines for a year now. She likes it, and I have to admit that I didn't mind the area either. Now outside of Des Moines I felt like I had found the worm hole back to ND. Oh, and I hope you like corn and pork....no reason.

I used to live there, for a couple weeks. My mom lives there now, she really likes it because she has land and can keep her horses for fairly cheap. As with any other place, it depends on where you live. If you live near a good sized city there are things to do, otherwise its a long drive.

I live in iowa. I dont mind it too much, not a huge fan of big cities. I wish i still lived in washington, but this is where all my family lives so i guess im here for awhile. If you dont mind seeing corn everywhere and having to smell raunchy pig manure it an ok place to live. The funny thing, is theres a bunch of bosnians that immigrated here in waterloo where i live. And they all "rice" there cars out but i can smoke them in my corolla.
