Engine-to-bellhousing studs

Post by vrg3 »

Are the two studs at the bottom of the engine-to-bellhousing interface replaceable? I'm talking about the ones in the lower right and lower left corners of this image:

The threads on one of mine are kind of chewed up...

Thanks!

Yeah, I could try running a die over them... It'd just be nicer to have all new threads, assuming my dealer can get them for me soon enough.

Are these studs just threaded into the block? Like, I could double-nut them to get them out?

Yes, they're just threaded in.
