I haven't had a chance to give them a thorough workout yet, ive got some kind of problem i need to work out, but they are profoundly firmer, offer much better traction, and when they slip, they're eerie quiet. Makes my car feel loose, and im gonna have to get used to them.

That's strange about them being quiet. Sounds good otherwise.

I've heard that too, where magazines describe the sound as "scrubbing." Seems to me like it would mostly be the tire though.

I was hoping to take a ride around in an STi last night to compare to my car, but there was only one and I didn't know the guy. My car is pretty stiff and firm, but still seems a little twitchy. I suppose it's a combination of old bushings everywhere but the steering rack, no rear swaybar, RE92s, a softer chassis, and the need for an alignment, not to mention that my left rear sturt pops a little and seems like it's tweaked a bit. Note to self: Don't buy used parts online from a random guy off a car that's been wrecked. Damn, if I could do that all over again...

Well, no work tomorrow. I was going to go hiking up some mountain with people from work, but that would require that I get up even earlier than usual. If I had my way I'd probably sleep until about 2pm every day. I feel pretty useless when I do, so hopefully that'd get old after awhile. Anyway, to wrap up the late night rambling, we went out and got some beer, drank it, and now I'm going to bed because getting 4-5 hours of sleep every night for a week tends to catch up to a person. I should probably start going to sleep at like 9.
