Radiator/Top coolant reservoir question

Post by Natoe »

I am using my N/A radiator with the EJ22T, and so i have 2 radiator caps, i put a higher pressure one on the top, and the regular one on the bottom so it would only overflow from the radiator.

my question is, how much coolant should there be in the top reservoir when cool? is it supposed to be full? mine is never full and i know it is leaking sometimes. when i fill it up though it just throws it up into the overflow tank.
thanks for any help

The top reservoir is supposed to always be full!

Why didn't you just plumb the stuff like we discussed in the other thread? If it's because the overflow nipple is still broken, I can sell you an intact filler tank. PM me with an offer for it if you would like it.
