So it used to be that my MAF at idle read .90 average on the multimeter. Now it reads .3 and I am getting a piss poor general run. i.e. it tends to miss.

also, my O2 sensor now never reads above .51. No matter what I do, full boost, full throttle off boost, whatever.

Just venting.

but then again, even though the wagon runs kinda like crap, on boost I get full power and no knock. go figure.

The lower MAF reading could in part be a result of the misfiring rather than a cause.

Is Torco sensor safe? Maybe it contaminated your oxygen sensor. I really hope you're running richer than 0.51v on a properly functioning oxygen sensor.

Yeah, I don't know. One of those things where you dont know WHAT exactly is doing the fuckup. And therefore it takes ALOT of messing around to figure out what is going on.

I have a few theories which I will attempt to correct in the next few days, if I have time. Yeah, its all about time. And sometimes money.

OH, and my messed up O2 sensor may be whats making everything run right.

Here is my theory.

On boost.........

MAF is crazy high 4.7 -5.0

O2 sensor is only .5

This means lean condition.

ECU may attempt to correct by both pulling times AND dumping more fuel.

Is this a possibility?

That's possible, I suppose... I don't know.

Couldn't the misfiring at idle be due to the big injectors?

My O2 sensor could have been damaged by the torco. Its a possibility.

But the MAF has me puzzled. I will be replacing tommorrow.
