I was sooooo high last night

Post by subawhatsubawho »

So I have had this migraine for the last 7 days and I have been to the ER twice and my neurologist once. None of thier advice was working so I called the on call neurologist at my local hospital and he calls in a prescription for Prednisone which most of you know is a steroid. I take 5 of those, 2 Imitrex, 1 Davaset, and 1 topamax, not to mention 5 Orudis KT's.

I went to bed and the fun began..I was having all these psycodelicdreams in colors I didn't know existed. I would get up to go to the bathroom and the colors of everything would be the oppisite of what they were. There were wild animals in my living room, a shark in my toilet, and the list goes on and on. Did I mention I was sweating like I was running a marathon?

Turns out a rare side effect of Prednisone is hallucinations.

Anybody else had anything like this happen to them from PRESCRIBED drugs. Medicinal weed is not the same!

BTW: Check out Shakira's new video "Don't Bother" (GT 500 and her...need I say more?) Personally I think she ripeed off Fiona Apple's video "Criminal"

Sad thing is my neurologist told me to take all of those....within a 2 hour period. You have to understand I have been dealing with a mind shattering migraine for a full week now with little to no relief.

Another loopy drug is cyclobenzaprene. (muscle relaxer) Relaxes the brain muscle...HAHA!!

I've been not quite there, but my migraines are completely incapacitating. My pain gets to the point where I'm vomiting, I'm glad that cleared up the migraine for you. ;)

There was this anti-malaria medication that I was on when in Peru, and I remember having the most vivid, fucked up dreams ever in my life for that week

I know the vomiting route. When my wife came to get me at the hospital she had some perfume on from that morning (forgot) and as soon as she came in distance I puked like a mofo. Then when we got home I was lying in bed and she flipped on the computer monitor.....BBBBBLLLLLAAAAHHHHH. Just like that.

I used to come in from working on the car and I would have a migraine and I would vomit within minutes of relaxing.

Good luck to all those who get these time robbers.

Wow, that's some crazy stuff!

I was actually just talking to someone today about prednisone, and how its an okay, good kind of steroid. That term just freaks people out.

I'm never one to mix and match my vices, but I will say that prescription-grade ibuprofen in the 600mg+ sizes tend to catylise some very vivid night visions.

Cyclobenzadrine, that be the flexies by trade, no?

You want some kicking stuff, try something with an anti-histamine in it. Those things make you so sleepy that you start seeing things! Large amounts of ibuprofen work well also

(This I remember because I had both problems when I had my wisdom teeth pulled)

They say that seeing stuff is a RARE side effect of the drug but I did take 5 at one time. (as directed)

Mark - Who are you asking if they are coming back to SLi?

Sorry Mark...I closed the book on that chapter. I'm sure yall are doing just fine without me.

I'm working on getting a sweet gen1 SS sedan or touring wagon and repping LCO to the fullest.

My neurologist doesn't seem to think I should work anymore and thinks I more than qualify for disability so between that and my ebay'ing I will have plenty of time and cash to be popping up at Asst'd LCO participatiing meets/shows/strip clubs all accross the country.

Coming to a cow near you.....
