Its Awd 5spd.
Can someone explain how the AWD works... is it a full time awd ?
are they pretty good as reliableity goes.

Yeah, as I recall, on the 5MT system..it's 50-50 using a Viscous Coupling. On the 4EAT's, there are things called clutch packs which transfer the power.91White-T wrote:Full time, its a mechanical linkage. 50/50

Yes its AWD (actually Subaru still called it Full Time 4WD in '91), the 5MT has a viscous coupled center diff (VLSD), with no wheel slip the power is distributed 50/50. Its all in the scans...
