Help! Need Parts

Post by FrEcKlEdRoOpIloT »

I am looking for replacement fenders and moldings for my 92 legacy. Also i need the Black tirm that runs along the pillars and Roof. If someone can fill me in on where to get these parts new or used in really good condition that would be freakin great. Also i need a carpet kit and roof liner.

Thank you for any help!
Thanks, Patrick :-D

Pictures of what you need would be great.

Sadly, you will only get able to get carpet and headliner from the JY because our cars are to the point where Subaru does not carry those items anymore, and they can't be had from aftermarket sources.
Yes I have too many Subarus
No you can't have one

Uhhh thanks for the hint subbawhatsawho or whatever your name is. I realize that you can buy parts from a junkyard, But i was hoping to find new parts since i am fairly anal about how things look. But thanks for the attitude anways. It was just a simple question. And i was hoping someone knew of something similar to a j.c whittney catalog, But one that delt with subaru/import cars. Well thanks to everyone else that gave me a reply minus the side of i had a bad day and i am going to take it out on you. Are black door panels, carpet, and headliners rare?

Thanks, Patrick :-D

dont put JC whitney crap or anyother non-subaru made crap on for body parts. if you do, they will be rusted within a few months of after they are painted and put on your car. You might as well make your own fenders with campbells soup cans flattened out and pasted together with super glue.

Go for OEM subaru fenderd please.
Not to mention that non-OEM will be flemsy and dent more easily and....I could go on and on...but I won't

I was looking in that catalog and others for carpet kits not fenders, or any other body panels. After market body panels fit like junk anyways. I was not aware of the rust thing though. Just wanted carpet roof liner etc.... Thanks for the help though! I want my car to look really clean not thrown together!!!! And really dont want campbell soup can fenders, Even though they sound sweet and light weight!!!

Thanks, Patrick :-D

I got aftermarket fenders that are pretty good, but not from JC Whitney. No rust after seven NE winters, though I undercoated the hell out them before the instal. I recommend cold galvanizing zinc spray from electrical supply places, too.

As for the carpet and headliner, you won't find them new unless you just luck out. In my case, I'm redoing the headliner and cloth part of the door cards in fake suede. Not sure what I'll do with the carpets yet. I'd like a deeper pile I'd cut from the original pattern, but that won't fold right around the tunnel.
